Mental Illness - Self Harming - Reasons why? THE PILOT

This is the image which is inspiration from C- Paige. What I have changed about it is the fact of keeping her face out of the image and just focusing on the words which have been written over her body as that's what she feels and what people have said to her during the past to make her self harm her self.

The photograph is in black and white, which I feel looks great as you able to see the words so clear against her skin so your able to read every single one, which I feel would touch the audience to know what has been said about her. Throughout this process I asked her what she felt and the emotions such as lonely and unloved are emotions she felt as an individual going through this process but words such as too fat, ugly are the comments which other peers have made to her which has then brought the emotions out of her feeling lonely and unloved.

I liked the fact she didn't hold back when I asked about the emotions and asking her how she felt, I feel it was good for her to let someone know and someone to understand just how much she was going through.
