I realised that individuals who Self Harm is mostly due to the appearance which they see in the mirror, which has made me think about plastic surgery. Individuals harm themselves because others bully them because the way they look so I thought if I looked at plastic surgery I would gain an understanding of a reason behind why these people Self Harm themselves.
The photograph which I have taken is of my house mate and I have drawn on her the parts she would love to change about herself, as she Self Harmed about her looks I thought this was a really good thing to create with her instead of her just Self Harming, showing why individuals Self Harm is putting it more into perspective and creating a meaning behind it.
